· Secretary - The Secretary is responsible for preparing the meeting minutes, league correspondence and management of the bylaws and procedure manual. In the past, the Secretary has also developed the game schedules for the season.
· Treasurer - The Treasurer is responsible for maintaining the league finances. Experience using financing software and basic accounting is required. Monthly financial reports are prepared for presentation to the Board. Make all deposits and keep all records and filings current.
· U5/U6 Instructional Director - Responsible for all activities for the U5/U6 division, maintains regular communication with the coaches and the public. The U5/U6 Director recruits coaches, oversees team selection, notifies coaches of meetings and league news, participates in all coach meetings, coordinates with the rest of the Board during the registration process and maintains team numbers.
· BU8 & GU8 Instructional Directors (2 positions) - Responsible for all activities for the BU8 or GU8 division, maintains regular communication with the coaches and the public. The U8 Director recruits coaches, oversees team selection, notifies coaches of meetings and league news, participates in all coach meetings, coordinates with the rest of the Board during the registration process and maintains team numbers.
· Director of Boys (U10+) - Responsible for all activities for the Boys division, maintains regular communication with the Boys coaches and the public. The Director of Boys recruits coaches, oversees team selection, notifies coaches of meetings and league news, participates in all coach meetings, coordinates with the rest of the Board during the registration process, maintains team numbers and keeps a record of team standings throughout the season.
· Director of TOPSoccer - Responsible for all activities for the TOPSoccer division (The Outreach Program), including recruiting coaches, conducting parent meetings and player clinics, and coordination with the Registrar to register all players.
· Director of Referees - Recruit new referees. The Director of Referees will be responsible for verifying certification, scheduling, facilitating payment of ref's and mentoring and educating them. The Director of Referees often works with the Assistant Director to develop referee schedules.
· Assistant to Director of Referees (a non-voting position) - Assist the Director of Referees by scheduling referees for games. Maintain records of referee shifts and coordinate with Board for referee payment.
· Registrar (a PAID, non-voting position) - With compensation to be approved by the Board during the annual budget review in January, the Registrar maintains all records of registered players. This position requires formal training to use the software and communicate with Cal South. The Registrar manages the annual Newsletter publishing, scholarships with the City, collection of all registration papers, additions and modifications to the registry database, Live Scanning requirements for administrators, assembles and distributes coach's packets, completes All-Star roster confirmation and maintains communication with the public through the registration process.
· Director of Sponsors - The Director of Sponsors is responsible for soliciting sponsors, distributing and collecting paperwork and payments. The annual schedule for communication with sponsors, thanking them, presenting their plaques and publishing thank yous is the responsibility of this position.
· Director of Purchasing - The Purchasing Director is responsible for purchasing all equipment (through coordination with the Director of Fields and Equipment) as well as the awards for the season (including All-Stars). Uniform orders are developed, placed, received, reviewed, packaged and distributed. Gather and maintain inventory; manage storage shed.
· Director of Volunteers - This new position will be responsible for the coordination of mandatory volunteer hours for all teams in the league. Volunteer hours may include participation as Team Parent, field maintenance, setting the goals, concessions, etc.
